Designed by the renowned architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie, Alwoodley is a classic heathland course featuring fairways that wind through heather, gorse, and natural shrubbery. With visually striking bunkers, challenging strategic options, and expansive, undulating greens, the course offers a blend of subtlety and sophistication. The layout runs straight out and back, with a tougher inward nine often played into the prevailing wind.
