As Business Administration Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Board of Directors (the Board) and leading key functions across administration, finance, compliance, and member engagement. You will work collaboratively with our professional staff, partners, and committees to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Club, as well as delivering high-quality services to our members, guests, and visitors.

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)

If so, Ladybank Golf Club, one of Scotland’s premier member-owned golf clubs, is seeking a Business Administration Manager to join the senior management team and help shape the future of the Club.
About the Role
As Business Administration Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Board of Directors (the Board) and leading key functions across administration, finance, compliance, and member engagement. You will work collaboratively with our professional staff, partners, and committees to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Club, as well as delivering high-quality services to our members, guests, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary administrative and operational liaison for the Board
- Manage daily operations, policies, and procedures in line with Club rules and Articles of Association
- Oversee the HR function, including recruitment support and records management
- Liaise with the Club’s Golf Professional, F&B partner, and Course Manager
- Lead and support the Membership & Sales Manager, Finance & Accounts Manager, and Administration Assistant
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and coordinate insurance renewals/claims
- Coordinate and minute Board meetings, AGMs, and quarterly Member Forums
- Handle all statutory filings with HMRC and Companies House
- Manage club bank accounts and external contractor relationships
- Support member communications and respond to day-to-day member challenges
Who We're Looking For
A confident and capable leader, ideally with:
- Proven experience in business or club administration
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong numeracy and budget management experience
- A background in private members’ clubs or golf is desirable but not essential
