An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the management team at Kings Norton Golf Club as a Deputy Head Greenkeeper. Considered one of the premier Golf Clubs in The West Midlands, set in 220 acres of beautiful parkland featuring 27 holes of championship golf, a par 3 academy course and extensive practice facilities.

Reporting directly to the Head Greenkeeper, you should have proven ability as a Deputy Head greenkeeper or First Assistant. Attention to detail and a flexible approach, the successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic.

All construction work is carried out in house, making this an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain invaluable experience in construction projects in addition to all other greenkeeping activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Highly motivated individual, keen passion for greenkeeping with a productive work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team and individually
- Weekend work on a 1-in-4 rota basis
- Attention to detail in all tasks, day to day maintenance carried out to the highest standard
- Ability to carry out a variety of tasks requiring flexibility in a desired skill set
- To lead and motivate others
- Knowledge of irrigation system maintenance and repair
- Strong communication skills and team leadership ability

Desirable:

- Previous golf course experience with NVQ level 2/3
- PA1,2 and 6 Spraying certificates
- First Aid
