Description:

Crown Golf, a leading multi-site Golf Club operator, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the success at Wickham Park. 

Wickham Park is a par 69 parkland course with scenic views of the Meon Valley. The new Toptracer Driving Range is now open and offers an excellent facility for both members and guests.

The club offers a comfortable and friendly clubhouse for its members that can also cater for golf days, functions, meetings and events.

The successful candidate will need to be a proven leader, who is not afraid to be hands-on at times.  A strong focus on service excellence and operational, financial, and interpersonal skills are required.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Excellent management skills including strong leadership, diplomacy and communication.
- Team leadership
- Experience of marketing, business development and growing revenue streams
- Proven success in a similar role, ideally within a leisure or golf club.
- Sound financial and commercial acumen.
- An understanding of golf industry trends and appropriate marketing media/channels to enable promotion the Club.
- Computer literacy relevant to the effective operation of a golf club; a working knowledge of Intelligent Golf would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of licensing law, employment law, health and safety legislation and risk management.
- Sound knowledge of the Rules of Golf and the World Handicap System would be advantageous.
- A flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the position.
