Bloxwich Golf Club - Senior Greenkeeper 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Greenkeeper join our course team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in the ongoing development, presentation, and maintenance of our course to the highest standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers to a high standard of presentation and playability
- Mow and prepare turf surfaces using specialised golf course machinery
- Repair divots, pitch marks, bunker edges, and general course wear
- Set hole positions and tee markers in line with agreed rotation schedules
- Prepare the course daily for general play, competitions, and events
- Operate, inspect, and assist with the maintenance of irrigation systems
- Monitor turf health, soil moisture, and environmental conditions
- Safely operate, clean, and maintain machinery and equipment, reporting any faults promptly
- Assist with course improvement projects including renovation, landscaping, seeding, aeration, and drainage works
- Work in accordance with all health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and club policies

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role. Experience & Qualifications (Desirable)
- Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience (desirable but not essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance or working towards a qualification
- PA1/PA2 spraying certificates or willingness to train
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Working Hours:

- Early morning starts, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
- Flexibility required to support tournaments and seasonal demands
