Overview:
Reporting to the Head Caddiemaster, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact for visitors and members ensuring that they are aware of clubhouse facilities and any relevant course conditions. In addition, the duties will include maintaining the locker room, front entrance hall and bag drop area in the appropriate condition.
Description:
Western Gailes Golf Club founded in 1897, is a traditional private members club on the Ayrshire Coast. As one of the finest links courses in the country it has hosted, amongst others, the Open qualifying, the Scottish Amateur Championship, the European Amateur Championship and the Curtis Cup.
Reporting to the Head Caddiemaster, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact for visitors and members ensuring that they are aware of clubhouse facilities and any relevant course conditions. In addition, the duties will include maintaining the locker room, front entrance hall and bag drop area in the appropriate condition.
Applicants should possess the following:
- Reliability and attention to detail with an ability to deliver high quality service to members and visitors.
- Personal presence and good inter-personal and communications skills.
- A sound understanding and appreciation of golf and its traditions.
- A flexible and practical approach with a willingness to work as part of a team.
This is a part time role that attracts a competitive salary. References will be required.
