Hadley Wood Golf Club, a prestigious private members’ club in North London, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Greenkeeper to join our dedicated course maintenance team during an exciting period of investment and growth.

About Us:

Designed by the legendary Dr. Alister MacKenzie, Hadley Wood Golf Club is set in 265 acres of tranquil parkland and is consistently ranked among the top courses in the region. The club is currently undergoing a major renovation programme, which includes significant course enhancements and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring long-term excellence in playing conditions and member experience.
 
The Role: 

Reporting to the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager, you will assist in the daily maintenance and improvement of the golf course, practice facilities, and club grounds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a greenkeeper to gain valuable experience and play a hands-on role during a transformational phase in the club’s history.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carrying out all routine golf course maintenance to a high standard
- Operation of modern turf care machinery and equipment
- Ensuring bunkers, tees, greens, and fairways are presented to the highest level
- Supporting renovation and construction works as part of the improvement programme
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- NVQ Level 2 (or working towards) in Sports Turf Maintenance or equivalent
- PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates (desirable)
- CS30/31 chainsaw certificates (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence
