Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands Golf Club (AGAWS) is a prestigious member owned parkland/heathland course located in Bedfordshire, renowned for its superb conditioning and welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in delivering a top-tier experience to our members and guests, and now we’re looking for a passionate Assistant Greenkeeper to help us take it even further.

The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced and dedicated greenkeeping team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our beautiful 18-hole championship course, ensuring it remains in peak condition all year round.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily course maintenance – mowing, divoting, bunker raking, turf care
- Operating and maintaining modern greenkeeping machinery
- Supporting renovation and improvement projects
- Complying with all health and safety regulations
- Contributing to a positive, hardworking team environment

About You:

- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management (or working towards it)
- Previous experience in greenkeeping or grounds maintenance preferred
- Passionate about course presentation, sustainability, and the outdoors
- Flexible and reliable – early mornings and weekend work required on a rota
- PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates are a bonus
- Full UK driving licence essential
