Overview:
Sleaford Golf Club are seeking a dedicated greenkeeping professional to help us achieve our goal of becoming an outstanding course for golfers of all levels. Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the candidate will have ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a proven track record of modern green keeping practices and be dedicated to delivering excellence and continuous improvement. You will have the ability to work with an experienced green keeping team and have the opportunity to learn new skills and qualifications.

Sleaford Golf Club - Greenkeeper
Sleaford Golf Club are seeking a dedicated greenkeeping professional to help us achieve our goal of becoming an outstanding course for golfers of all levels. Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the candidate will have ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a proven track record of modern green keeping practices and be dedicated to delivering excellence and continuous improvement. You will have the ability to work with an experienced green keeping team and have the opportunity to learn new skills and qualifications.

Our ideal candidate will possess/be able to demonstrate the following:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in greenkeeping and sports turf management or at least 2 years’ practical experience of green keeping
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certification or willing to gain the qualification
- Qualified CS30 & CS31 chainsaw operator or willing to gain the qualification
- The ability to achieve consistently high standards
- Contribute proactively as part of a team which delivers to agreed attainable objectives, consistent with the club’s long-term goals and aspirations
- Knowledge of modern greenkeeping practices
- Practical experience operating all modern turf maintenance machinery
- Be an able and confident communicator
- An eye for detail. High standards of course quality and presentation. High professional and personal standards
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and on the golf course to ensure compliance in line with Regulatory requirements
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular working hours when necessary, including a weekend rota
