The Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our dedicated course team. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent) and ideally have mechanical knowledge to assist with routine maintenance and machinery breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out all aspects of golf course maintenance to the highest standard, including mowing, aeration, topdressing, irrigation, and bunker presentation.

- Assist in the repair and servicing of course machinery and equipment as required.

- Work closely with the Head Greenkeeper and the team to deliver consistent course conditioning.

- Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with club and health & safety policies.

- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the course.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Level 2 (or working towards) qualification in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent).

- Sound knowledge of modern turf management practices.

- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours (early mornings and weekends on a rotational basis).

Desirable

- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance and repairs.

- Spraying certificates (PA1, PA2, PA6).

- Chainsaw certificate.
