Are you ready to take the next step in your greenkeeping career?

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Deputy Course Manager to join the team at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre, part of Burhill Golf Ltd (BGL).

Working alongside our experienced Course Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day management of our two golf courses and driving range, leading by example and inspiring the greenkeeping team to deliver outstanding playing surfaces all year round.

What You’ll Do

- Support the Course Manager with daily operations, staff management, and course presentation.
- Maintain and continually improve the golf course and driving range outfield to the highest standards.
- Supervise and develop a talented team of greenkeepers, fostering pride, performance, and professional growth.
- Take an active role in project work including bunker, tee, and fairway renovations, irrigation, and drainage improvements.
- Monitor turf quality, ensure excellent course conditioning, and uphold health & safety standards.
- Contribute to budgeting, planning, and strategic development of the course.
- Deputise for the Course Manager when required.

What We’re Looking For

- Experienced greenkeeper or current Deputy ready to progress.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of turf management, machinery, irrigation, and agronomy.
- Spraying and fertiliser qualifications (PA1, PA2, PA6).
- A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail.
