WE ARE LOOKING FOR: HEAD GREENKEEPER (M/F/D)

LOCATION: 3532 NIEDERGÜRNBACH / NEAR KREMS, LOWER AUSTRIA

START DATE: IMMEDIATELY OR BY AGREEMENT

EMPLOYMENT: FULL-TIME

The Diamond Golfclub Ottenstein is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Austria, known for its natural design, excellently maintained fairways, and top-level sporting standards.

To ensure our course remains in first-class condition, we are currently looking for a committed individual to join our team as a Head Greenkeeper (m/f/d).

YOUR PROFILE:

- Completed training as a greenkeeper or head greenkeeper (e.g. GVD certification, BIGGA, etc.)
- Several years of professional experience in greenkeeping, ideally in a management role
- Solid expertise in turf care, machinery, irrigation, and plant protection
- Leadership skills, organizational talent, and a strong sense of quality
- Independent, responsible working style
- Good computer skills (e.g. MS Office, maintenance management software)
- Passion for golf and sensitivity to the expectations of demanding members and guests

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Overall responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the 18-hole golf course and practice facilities
- Professional and personnel leadership of the greenkeeping team
- Planning and implementation of maintenance measures according to modern standards and ecological sustainability
- Management and monitoring of the machinery and irrigation systems
- Organization and coordination of external service providers
- Close collaboration with club management and participation in the strategic development of course maintenance
