About the role

The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Club’s daily
operations from the professional shop. The role will involve close collaboration with the Course
Manager, Board of Directors, and other key staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of
the Club.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Contributing to the development and delivery of an exceptional member and visitor
experience.
- Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the Club.
- Managing staff rotas, standards, and communication across departments.
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met, including maintaining records and
compliance documentation.
- Acting as the main operational liaison between the professional shop, clubhouse, and
course teams.
- Supporting the Course Manager with on-course operational matters and resource
planning.
- Providing clear communication and regular updates to the Board on operational
priorities and challenges.

About you

The ideal candidate will:

- Be a golfer or have a strong understanding of golf club operations.
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and coordinate a
team.
- Be proactive, reliable, and able to work under their own initiative.
- Have experience within a golf club or similar hospitality/leisure environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- PGA accreditation or recognised Golf Club Management training (such as GCMA or
CMAE programmes) would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ClubV1, BRS, or similar golf management systems would be an
advantage
- This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy, member-focused environment
and enjoys being involved in all aspects of club life.
