Description:
About Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club
Founded in 1922, Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club is one of Glamorgan’s premier members’ clubs. Originally a Harry Colt design Pyle and Kenfig has evolved into 2 distinct 9 holes the back nine boasting some of the finest holes of links golf in Wales. Widely regarded as one of the best courses in Wales, Pyle and Kenfig is currently ranked 7th in Wales and just outside the Top 100 in the UK. The Club has a proud history, having hosted Women’s Open Championship Qualifiers, the Senior Open Championship Qualifiers, Co-hosting Amateur Championships and a range of prestigious county and national events.
We now seek an experienced, passionate, and forward-thinking Head Green keeper to lead our greenkeeping team through this next chapter. In recent years, the Club has demonstrated a clear commitment to both course excellence and the professional development of our team. We have a thoroughly up to date fleet of machinery indicative of a championship golf course. We will be embarking on a fairway irrigation project over the next few years where the Head Green Keeper will be instrumental in delivering the new irrigation system in a project management role.
