Machynys is a 7,121 yard Nicklaus designed Championship golf course. A hybrid links style golf course with USGA spec greens. Machynys is an R&A championship venue and has held eighteen major tournaments in its seventeen year history.
 
Machynys has recently achieved the status of a GEO Certified venue, the most widely regarded and credible sustainability distinction in golf. Demonstrating our commitment and best practices across our golfing facility for a sustainable future. 
 
Machynys is a proprietary members 18-hole golf course we are looking for talented and committed Greenkeeper to join the team. Established in 2005 and located in picturesque Carmarthenshire, the golf course was designed and construction overseen by renowned golf course architects Nicklaus design.
 
Working with the most up to date machinery, the greenkeeping team are responsible for maintaining a highly conditioned quality course.
 
Requirements:

- Display passion, dedication and efficiency within the delivery of golf course and resort maintenance
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience to help lead by example
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce a high standard of work
- Good time management and communication skills
- An enthusiastic, motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player who is also able to use own initiative with a good understanding of operating machinery
- A flexible approach to work, work hours and weekend duties
- To carry out routine maintenance tasks on the golf course/Resort to the highest standard and in alignment with our focus on golf course excellence in every faucet
- Must be self motivated and be professional in appearance and actions

Qualifications:
- NVQ level 2 Sports Turf Management or above
- PA1 and PA6 spraying certifications are desirable, however not essential
- Strong communication skills and experience within a fast paced, dynamic environment

Renumeration
 
A competitive Salary plus overtime, depending on experience and qualifications.
