Assistant Greenkeeper

Royal Aberdeen Golf Club are currently looking to recruit two ambitious Assistant Greenkeepers who are keen to take the next step in their career and progress their professional development.
 
Founded in 1780, the 6th oldest golf club in the world regularly features in the top 100 golf courses in the world rankings and has played host to a number of top amateur and professional tournaments such as the Scottish Open, the British Seniors Open, the Walker cup and the Amateur championship.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Educated to a minimum of SVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Sports Turf Management
- A strong work ethic is essential to ensure that productivity and standards are high at all times
- Ambitions to continually develop personal skills in line with industry qualifications
- Work well as part of a team
- A flexible approach to work hours and weekend duties
- Be able to communicate effectively

Working Conditions

- Full-time with variable start times throughout the year depending on course utilisation
- Working week, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime on a rota basis
- 28 days holiday
