An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our dedicated team at Murrayshall Country Hotel and Golf Club, Scone Perthshire. Our aim is to be a high end four star golf resort, consisting of an 18 hole Championship ‘Murrayshall Course’. With the additional 9 hole Lynedoch Course.

We have invested heavily in new machinery and with continued golf course developments to help push us through to the next level. The Resort is undertaking a period of growth capitalising on the glorious estate surrounding the hotel, with the latest release being 22 Armadilla pod-style cabins, marking a new era of luxury and comfort for the Estate. This investment continues after adding 3 spa treatment room as well as a Pursuits area with quad bike, archery and axe throwing and with our award winning restaurant, making Murrayshall the perfect destination for leisure or corporate.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about their role and association with the Estate and be able to follow all safe working practices ensuring the safety of all golfers, staff and contractors.

They will possess at least a SVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping or equivalent and have experience of working in a golf course environment.

They will have practical skills for driving and operating machinery, work well as part of a team and have excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Desirable skills will include construction experience, chainsaw certificate and pesticide spraying licence PA1, PA2 PA6.

The hours of work for our Greenkeeping team are Mon-Fri from 6.00am to 3.00 pm in the summer and 7.30am to 2.30pm in the winter. With weekend shifts on a rota basis.
