Description:

Peterculter Golf Club on the outskirts of Aberdeen have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Greenkeeper to join the green keeping team.

Candidates should have a proven ability as a greenkeeper and be able to work under pressure to the varied requirements of a busy golf club.

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and demonstrate an excellent understanding of all green keeping practices.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

- NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or working towards qualification.

- PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates preferred but not essential.

- Minimum 3 years green keeping experience.

- A good knowledge of all green keeping machinery and its maintenance.

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Good communications skills.

- Chainsaw certificate but not essential.

- Flexibility to work varied hours such as early starts.

- To maintain healthy and safe working practices at all times.

The successful candidates will be required to work flexible hours which include early mornings and a weekend rota.
