The last golf course designed by Old Tom Morris in 1904, this attractive 18-hole layout features scenic views, lush fairways and smooth greens. The Tiel burn runs throughout the golf course providing an abundance of wildlife and the perfect place for a relaxing game of golf with family or friends.

We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Head Greenkeeper to join our small team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep of the course to the highest possible standard.

The role is full time, working 40 hours per week annualised Monday to Friday. Additional weekend work, as paid overtime, will also be available on a rotational basis within the Greenkeeping Team.

Ideal candidate will preferably have:

- Experience within a Deputy or Supervisory Position
- Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf
- An exceptional eye for presentation and detail
- An SVQ/NVQ level 3/HNC in sport turf management or equivalent
- PA1/PA2/PA6 Spraying Certificates
- A working knowledge of fungicides and pesticides
- Relevant Chainsaw License (desirable)
- Experience of operating a wide array of golf course machinery
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own
- Ability to lead the greenkeeping team

The salary will be commensurate with the abilities of the successful applicant and a contributory pension and 30 days annual leave will be included. Uniform and PPE will be provided.
