Rugby Golf Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in Warwickshire, are offering an outstanding opportunity for a highly visible, adaptable, self-motivated and ambitious individual to join their popular & aspiring golf club as their new Club Operations Manager.
Operating at an executive level and in accordance with the policies determined by the Management Board, the new Club Operations Manager will manage all aspects of club business in an efficient and effective manner, inspiring a small but motivated staff to meet the expectations of members, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the RGC office and be the point of contact for golf and business queries.
- Work closely with the Bar, Catering, Facilities and Course teams on key business matters.
- Collaboration with the Head Professional and Professional team.
- Ensure accurate and timely membership administration and communications.
- Management of the content and messaging within RGC systems (eg. Website, IG).
- Oversight of society and visitor administration.
- Support for book-keeping and payroll functions, as necessary.
- Main point of contact for all main RGC contracts, HR, H&S compliance matters.
- To be a welcoming and informative ambassador for members and visitors to RGC.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of golf and the operation of a private members’ golf club,
- Exemplary leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on a diplomatic style of communication and ability to relate to people of all backgrounds.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of growing revenue streams whilst controlling costs.
- High financial literacy and excellent IT system skills.
- An ability to acknowledge and implement modern marketing and social media initiatives.
- Inspiring a culture of service excellence, attention to detail and focus on quality to deliver an outstanding customer experience for members and visitors alike.
- Superb communication and presentation skills across all platforms.
- Up to date knowledge of employment law, HSE and other regulations, applicable to club management and small companies.
- A flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the position.

Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package is available commensurate with the role and a golf club in the Midlands of this profile. The Club will be flexible on working hours and feel this could be on either a full-time or a part-time basis.
