Role Overview

As Clubhouse Operations Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction across all clubhouse operations, including front of house, food and beverage services, events, housekeeping, dormy accommodation, and member engagement. You will ensure the seamless daily operation of the Clubhouse, reporting directly to the Secretary and managing the Assistant Clubhouse Operations Manager and departmental supervisors.  This is a pivotal leadership role within the Club, responsible for maintaining our reputation for excellence and shaping our future hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Lead all aspects of clubhouse operations, aligning delivery with the Club’s long-term vision and service expectations.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure excellence in daily operations, including food and beverage service, events, housekeeping, and dormy accommodation.
- Team Leadership: Manage, support, and develop a high-performing team, embedding a culture of accountability, service, and professionalism.
- Member Experience: Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for members and guests; respond to feedback and continuously enhance the Clubhouse experience.
- Events Management: Oversee the delivery of Club and private events, coordinating closely with the Executive Chef and wider teams.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, stock, rotas, and resources efficiently to deliver quality and value across the operation.
- Compliance & Standards: Uphold impeccable standards in all areas and ensure full compliance with health & safety, employment, and licensing regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and Club Secretary to shape and evolve the member and visitor experience.
