Deputy Courses Manager - Frilford Heath Golf Club 

Frilford Heath Golf Club is looking to recruit a Deputy Courses Manager. The successful candidate would work closely with the Director of Courses & Estates and the Courses Manager to manage the greenkeeping operation maintaining a 450-acre estate with 54 holes of golf. The club has a thriving membership and is a regular host to significant events including Open Championship Regional Qualifying. We are proud to be hosting the R&A Senior Amateur Championship in 2026.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to contribute to the ongoing development of the estate and assist in delivering our vision and living our purpose.

We have completed some exciting course development projects over the last few years with installation of two new irrigation systems and the renovation of all bunkers across the estate. This investment in the courses is set to continue with the third irrigation system replacement, drainage works to selected areas, and commencement of a project to improve all of the teeing areas. We are committed to our continued investment in the greenkeeping operation, with a phased lease agreement for machinery replacement and upgrades to the course maintenance facility.

The successful candidate would play a major role in delivery of these projects along with daily presentation of the courses.

Excellent communication, IT and agronomic skills are vital, along with the ability to motivate and manage a large team. A positive outlook and flexible attitude to work are also a must.
