Description:
About Us:
Childwall Golf Club moved to its current location in 1939 and owns the freehold. Located in a serene corner of south Liverpool it remains one of golf’s best-kept secrets — a hidden gem boasting a beautifully maintained 18-hole parkland course which has hosted both County and Northern Boys Championship, GEO Certified and looked over by an iconic art deco clubhouse.
The Course is made up of rich loam soils on a clay base which sits on sandstone. The Club has over the past 20 years upgraded all the greens which are now sand based with a mixture of poa-annua, bent, fescue and rye grasses.
With a proud tradition of continuous investment both on and off the Course, we are committed to delivering excellence and driving ongoing improvement. In the last ten years capital expenditure of over £1million has taken place on the Course, on infrastructure and on new machinery. More is planned over the next 5 years including a new irrigation system and new fleet of machinery.
We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, professional, and talented individual to take our Course to the next level. This leadership role involves guiding and developing our dedicated greenkeeping team while delivering consistent, year-on-year enhancements to the course.
