The successful candidate will work alongside our Course Manager in maintaining the golf course to a high standard and motivating our team.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Course Manager in maintaining the golf course to a high standard and motivating our team.
Main Accountabilities:
- Work alongside the Course Manager to maintain the Golf Course to a high standard and motivate our team
- Deputise for the Course Manager during absences
- Operate equipment for fine turf maintenance programmes that ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain standard operating procedures for the golf course against agreed Standard Operating Procedures and departmental policy
- Liaise with the Course Manager on the upkeep and maintenance of the golf course
- Maintain knowledge in relation to training and development
- Manage all operations in an environmentally sustainable plan
- Ensure all Health & Safety systems protect and promote a safe working environment
Service Delivery/Operations:
- Ensure that the golf course is prepared appropriately for daily and competition play
- Ensure all playing surfaces are maintained to the highest standard with resource availability
- Ensure all areas are fit for purpose and safe for club members, guests and employees
Service Quality:
- Ensure all work undertaken is representative of the quality expected in all areas managed on the golf course so that club members experience is positive and memorable
- Health and Safety/Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the rules of the Clubhouse Health & Safety policy
- Ensure all work practices are in line with all documented instructions and guidelines
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Recognised Sportsturf qualification
- Minimum 5 years Greenkeeping experience
- PA1,2 & 6 spraying certificates
- Chainsaw qualifications (desirable)
- Tournament or International experience (advantageous)

Salary: £40-£45K is negotiable depending on experience, knowledge and qualifications.
