Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Jumeirah Golf Estates is one of the Middle East’s premier golf destinations and proud host of the prestigious DP World Tour Championship, the final event of the Race to Dubai. We’re seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who is highly self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented. Ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a passion for turf management and a clear ambition to advance into a Superintendent role.

Job Responsibilities

- Assisting in daily golf course maintenance operations
- Supervising agronomic practices and ensuring optimal turf health
- Preparing the course to championship standards, particularly for tournament play
- Leading and motivating a multicultural maintenance team
- Implementing technical solutions in a warm-season grass environment
- Supporting equipment maintenance and irrigation operations
- Upholding health, safety, and environmental standards
 
About You

- Degree or diploma in turfgrass management, horticulture or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in golf course maintenance, with 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
- Valid pesticide application certificate
- Experience with irrigation system, repairs and water management
- Knowledge of warm season turfgrass management practices
- Tournament preparation experience is highly preferred
