West Sussex golf club are looking to expand our greenkeeping team from 10 to 11. A top 100 course looking to improve further coming up to our centenary with a lot of projects and course improvements planned over the coming years. Reporting to course manager looking for a highly motivated individual with great eye for detail who’s looking to progress up the greenkeeping ladder This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a prestigious club with ongoing investment and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and prepare the course to a high standard
- Operate and maintain turf care equipment
- Assist with course renovations bunker maintenance, aeration, fertilisation and turf repairs and maintenance
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Weekend and bank holiday work on a rota system

Personal qualities

- Good time management and communication
- Keen to continue with personal development and attaining qualifications
- Professional and pro active team player
- Previous experience in greenkeeping or landscaping

Desired but not essential

- NVQ level 2 or above
- Spraying certificate (PA 1, PA2 and PA6)
- Chainsaw Certification
