An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Pro Shop team at Crail Golfing Society, the world’s 7th Oldest Golf Club. The successful applicant will join a team who are passionate and highly motivated in delivering the most memorable golf experience.

Crail GS is always looking to the future and plans are in place to build a 7 bay covered members performance and practice hub to enhance the tuition offering and experience.

The role involves working 5 days from 7 at an average of 40 hours per week across the year.

Crail Golfing Society has 2 championship links courses, a thriving membership of 2,500 and welcomes 10,000 international visitor rounds a year. With its location being so close to St Andrews, the home of golf it makes Crail one of the most sought-after destinations to play golf.

The role involves working 5 days from 7 at an average of 40 hours per week across the year.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Support day to day golf operations
- Build relationships with members
- Growing the retail offering including product selection and merchandising
- Delivery of golf tuition
- Interest in hardware / custom fitting but is not essential
- Work closely with other departments across the club

Requirements:

- PGA Qualified though candidates who are registered Trainees may be considered
- A passion for continuous professional development
- Motivated and proactive who works well in a team environment
- Demonstrates leadership skills including taking initiative and communicating effectively
