Canterbury Golf Club prides itself on its fine Harry Colt course and was built by Colt’s “go to” construction firm of Messrs.Franks Harris soon after completing the west course at Wentworth. It is said to have been literally carved out of the gorse although is now mostly lined by Oak and Birch woodland. The undulating terrain and quality greens, provide a good test of golf in a picturesque setting.
 
National Club Golfer have recently said that “Canterbury belongs inside the top 10% of English golf courses and can be regarded as elite – we strongly recommend that you visit it”
                                                    
The club now requires a Deputy Course Manager as the previous incumbent has taken up a Head Greenkeeper role at another club and we are looking for a committed and accomplished professional to fill this important roll.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience, and management skills:

- Experience in leadership skills
- Qualified in Sports Turf Husbandry
- PA1 PA6 & PA2A Spray certificates
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge/experience of irrigation systems
- Chainsaw certificates desirable
