Description:

The Role:

You will be joining an existing staff provision of Head Greenkeeper, three full time greens staff, and one greens Apprentice, with a part time mechanic supporting the team. 

You will be helping to lead the team for the upkeep and maintenance of all aspects of the golf course, ranging from daily course and seasonal maintenance to woodland management, and more complex in-depth course improvements, development and projects. You will also be responsible to maintaining all areas around the Golf Club estate.

The ideal candidate for this job will have:

- Minimum Level 2 qualified greenkeeper (or equivalent)
- Must have PA1 & PA6 certificates, preferable PA2
- Chainsaw certificates desirable but not essential
- Minimum 5 years greenkeeping (or turf management equivalent) experience
- Excellent time keeping and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the game of golf You will be hard-working, driven, have a desire to lead by example, and are ready to take the next step in your green keeping / turf management career
