About Oakmere:

- Previous host of the PGA Midland Open (5 years) and official County Course of Nottinghamshire

- Courses include the flagship Admirals, Commanders, and the Captains Par 3 (opened in 2022)

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and deputise for the Head Greenkeeper in all course management operations
- Lead greenkeeping staff and manage rotas in the Head’s absence
- Maintain the golf courses to a high standard
- Help drive new projects with a strong attention to detail

Candidate Requirements:

- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Greenkeeping
- PA1, PA2, PA6a spraying certificates preferred but not essential
- Minimum 3 years’ greenkeeping experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Chainsaw licence preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of course set-up, maintenance & H&S compliance
- Basic understanding of the game of golf

You’ll Need To Be:

- A motivated and adaptable team player
- Punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours (incl. weekends/bank holidays on rota)
- Eager to learn and grow professionally

Salary: Circa £35,000 (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week + weekend rota
