The Club:
The Bradford Golf Club, set over the Hawksworth Links and known locally as Hawksworth, is a private members’ club with over 400 active playing members.  Established in 1891, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in Yorkshire. It was redesigned in 1923 by Herbert Fowler, the renowned course architect known for his work at The Berkshire (Blue & Red), Walton Heath (Old & New) & Saunton (East).  The club is located in North West Leeds and is regarded as a hidden gem amongst its more famous North Leeds neighbours.

The Role:
Day to Day responsibilities include: 

Reporting to the President and Board you will oversee all matters relating to Golf, Membership, Clubhouse Services and the general administration of the Club, ensuring that it operates at the highest standards of professionalism and service
You will be responsible for the leadership, training and mentoring of the ops team to ensure that they reach their full potential.
Focusing on commercial success you will help to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, whilst maintaining financial sustainability
You will create an exceptional experience for Members prioritising their needs and preferences
You will help in the preparation of the Club’s Business Strategy, Annual Budget and Re-Forecasts taking responsibility for their delivery and performance
The Candidate:

The role demands a proven track record within a Golf Club environment and ideally a relevant qualification
You should have excellent interpersonal, people management and communication skills along with progressive leadership/management experience 
You should be familiar with golf industry trends and appropriate marketing media/channels to enable you to promote this side of our business
You should also be comfortable in all aspects of financial management
Remuneration
The size of the basic salary will naturally reflect the importance of the role, but there will be additional bonus incentives related to successful performance
