An excellent overall understanding of Health and Safety protocols in the workplace will also be required along with ability to work effectively in a team environment

Greenkeeper Vacancy - St Anne's Old Links

St Annes Old Links is a highly regarded Championship course on the Fylde Coast, Lancashire. The club has a proud history of hosting county, regional and international events, most recently, both final qualifying for The Open and The Amateur Championships in 2022.

The successful candidate will join a progressive and dedicated team responsible for the maintenance and development of our championship links course and the delivery of significant infrastructure upgrades, including staff welfare facilities, irrigation system and course improvements.

Candidates should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and possess good communication skills. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of greenkeeping practices. An excellent overall understanding of Health and Safety protocols in the workplace will also be required along with ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a greenkeeping role
- Qualified to level 2
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team or individually
- Strong work ethic
- Positive Communication skills
- UK Driving Licence
- IT Literacy

Role:

- Full time – 40 Hours per week (Mon-Fri) plus weekend work on rota
- Maintain golf course under direction of the Course Manager
- Be fully conversant with the club’s fleet of machinery and operations
- Participate in department and club operational meetings
- Liaise with colleagues, suppliers, contacts and clients in line with club policy
