Overview:

We are seeking a Full-time Head Greenkeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role, you will report to both the Director of Golf Course Maintenance and the Golf Courses Manager. You’ll work closely with each of them, supporting daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and helping to deliver on long-term goals. This shared reporting structure ensures you’ll have the guidance, support, and collaboration of two senior leaders as you play a key role in elevating our golf experience. Our department is committed to professional growth; over the past decade, we’ve developed 25 senior industry leaders, and we’d be delighted to support your career journey.

As Head Greenkeeper of the recently refurbished Garden Course, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, lead a dedicated team of 10 greenkeepers, manage agronomic standards, and ensure exceptional course quality. With your own state-of-the-art equipment fleet, you’ll have the resources and support to deliver excellence for our members.

Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a Full-time Head Greenkeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role, you will report to both the Director of Golf Course Maintenance and the Golf Courses Manager. What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-quality golf course maintenance
- Current supervisory/management role (Deputy Head or similar)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent higher qualification
- PA1, PA2, and PA6a spraying certificates with hands-on experience
- Proven leadership, motivational and communication skills
- High personal standards, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude
- Passion for golf course management and career progression

What We Offer:

- Between £42,000 – £45,000 basic gross salary dependent upon qualifications & experience
- Eligibility for overtime (circa £3,000 pa), lieu time (circa 80 hours pa), & TRONC member gratuity payment (circa £1,500)
- Total potential annual earnings: £46,500 – £49,500
