An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-employed individual to run our Pro-Shop activities at our well established and respected golf club with over 900 members from all categories.

Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow

Start Date: Flexible but not earlier than 1st Nov 2024

Key Responsibilities:

Establishing and employing Pro-Shop staff
Running the Pro-Shop as a franchise within the club
Provide Starter facilities & Manage Tee Sheet
Administer visitor green fees, buggy and equipment hire
Provide full range of golf equipment, custom-fitting service and clothing within the Pro-shop
Work closely with Club Manager, Club Strategic Group & Convenors to deliver the best possible member and visitor experience
Liaise and assist event organisers to deliver top class occasions
Provide and drive coaching to all members & sections within the club
Encourage and organise events for the wider community to help drive overall golf participation
Actively communicate to our members via various channels
Positive ambassador for Kirkhill Golf Club
The ideal candidate:

PGA certified (or working towards) or equivalent experience
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to people manage & motivate their team
Proactive approach to Customer Service
Self-motivated and well organised
Marketing skills to develop retail & Pro-Shop activity
Enthusiastic & hardworking with the drive to deliver top quality service
Knowledge of ClubV1 and BRS systems
Renumeration: Competitive monthly retainer based on experience and skill.
