About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Sustainability Officer to support the implementation and management of our sustainability plan in line with the England Golf Strategy 2025-2030. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote and embed sustainable practices across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of the England Golf sustainability plan.
- Coordinate education and connectivity of internal stakeholders, counties, and golf clubs.
- Contribute to sustainability promotional and advocacy campaigns.
- Collaborate with the R&A and other key stakeholders on sustainability projects.
- Assist in reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.
- Educate and support teams on key sustainability issues (water, energy, biodiversity).

Requirements:

- Sufficient educational attainment to demonstrate ability to carry out the role.
- Sound understanding of golf facility management and sustainable practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven experience in sustainability, business management, or environmental science.

The post is full-time, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The position is a remote based role in England and our headquarters are based at The National Golf Centre, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6PU.
