Western Gailes - Qualified Greenkeeper

A traditional members' club established in 1897 and regularly ranked amongst the top 40 courses in the UK and Ireland, Western Gailes Golf Club is looking to recruit a suitably qualified greenkeeper to join the agronomy team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to further their career in greenkeeping. Working under the Course Manager and his Deputy, the role will allow the successful candidate to contribute significantly to the maintenance and presentation of a championship-standard links golf course for both members and visitor golfers.

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following:
✔ A minimum of four years' sports turf experience
✔ Level 2/3 certification in sports turf
✔ High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
✔ A good knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices
✔ A good understanding of equipment maintenance and machinery setup
✔ An understanding of irrigation systems, including maintenance and repair
✔ PA1, 2, and 6 (or willing to complete immediately)
✔ Full UK driving licence
✔ The ability to work to a weekend rota
