Eskdale Golf Club – Seasonal Greenskeeper
 
Seasonal Work – Starting from 1ST March 2025 – 30TH September 2025
 
Location: Ravenglass, Cumbria, CA18 1RL 
 
Pay: £13.50 Per Hour (For all hours worked including weekends)
 
Expected hours: 40-56 Hours Per Week
Monday to Friday – 40 Hours
Weekend availability – Additional 16 Hours Available

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and groom golf course greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers
- Operate and maintain specialised landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers
- Apply fertilisers, herbicides, and other treatments as needed
- Monitor and address drainage and turf health issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Assist with general landscaping tasks, including planting and pruning
- Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf management (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with landscaping equipment and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of turfgrass species and care is a plus
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual labor
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
