Azalea strengthens team with key appointments for 2025

Leading golf PR and marketing agency, Azalea, has announced two significant new appointments to kick off what promises to be a busy year for the company.

Roddy Williams, a seasoned professional in the golf industry, has been named head of content and media. In this role, Williams will lead Azalea's existing content team while managing a portfolio of key accounts. With a remarkable 22-year career at the European Tour Group and Ryder Cup, Williams has earned widespread respect in the industry. Most recently, he served as director of communications for the international non-profit GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf.

Azalea’s team has also been strengthened with the arrival of Chris Beeson as an account manager. Beeson brings experience from his role at British Airways Holidays and his tenure as UK project manager for the award-winning brand Your Golf Travel. A talented golfer, Beeson has been a PGA professional since 2006.

These appointments follow a period of growth for Azalea, which last year welcomed Damian Urwin as an account manager and Alana Burnett as lifestyle content manager. Urwin joined after a six-year stint at Your Golf Travel and a role as market manager for Agoda, a leading online travel agency. Burnett, meanwhile, brought extensive experience in travel and hospitality, including a managerial position at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire.
