October 21, 2024
Both Guerrier, ranked 207th in the world, and Campillo ended the tournament level at 21 under par, forcing an extended playoff. They matched each other shot for shot over eight consecutive holes before Guerrier finally prevailed. He holed a decisive eight-foot par putt on the ninth playoff hole as Campillo faltered with a bogey on the 18th, played for the sixth time during the playoff.
Jorge is an incredible player, and I knew it would be tough, Guerrier remarked after the victory, which came on his 229th European Tour appearance. I just focused on giving my best, and I’m overjoyed to finally win.
Both Guerrier and Campillo had shared the overnight lead and finished their final rounds with matching scores of two-under 70. A late bogey by Campillo on the 18th during regulation play sent the match into extra holes.
England's Daniel Brown secured third place, finishing two strokes behind the leaders. Former world number one and LIV Golf star Jon Rahm settled for sixth, four shots back, while South Africa's Jacques Kruyswijk tied for seventh with a final-round 69, finishing at 14 under par.
