Jon Rahm secures 2024 LIV Golf individual championship in debut Season

Jon Rahm’s debut season in the LIV Golf League was exceptional, securing the 2024 Individual Championship with a three-shot victory in Chicago. A flawless final round of 66 at Bolingbrook Golf Club brought Rahm to 11 under par, earning him his second win of the season and an £18 million bonus.
Starting the final day with a one-shot lead, Rahm extended his advantage with birdies on the second, sixth, and tenth holes. A crucial 12-foot birdie on the 17th sealed his win, with Joaquin Niemann and Sergio Garcia tying for second place. Tyrrell Hatton and Ian Poulter rounded out the top five.
Rahm’s move to LIV Golf came with high expectations, and he delivered by finishing in the top 10 in all 13 starts, securing two wins, and earning a total of £16.7 million. His team, Legion XIII, also enjoyed success, finishing second overall, just behind Crushers GC, heading into the Team Championship.
