Assistant Greenkeeper – Bath Golf Club

Founded in 1880, Bath Golf Club is one of England’s oldest courses. This proud Harry Colt-designed course offers 18 holes of historic downland golf, set against the stunning backdrop of the World Heritage city of Bath.

We’re seeking an additional Assistant Greenkeeper to join our highly motivated and enthusiastic team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and supportive club committed to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Most importantly, they’ll be passionate about greenkeeping and eager to grow their skills and knowledge in the profession.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

- Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf (or working toward it)
- Previous greenkeeping experience
- Passionate, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible approach to working hours on occasion
- An interest in golf (desirable but not required)

Salary:

- Level 2 qualified with experience: £28,000 – £29,000 + overtime
Realistic earning potential: £31,000 – £32,000
- Unqualified (dependent on experience): £25,500 – £27,000 + overtime
Realistic earning potential: £27,000 – £29,000
