ABOUT BROADSTONE GOLF CLUB

Set in the heart of the Dorset countryside, Broadstone Golf Club is a spectacular heathland course ranked among the Top 100 in the UK. Spanning 250 acres of rolling terrain, the course meanders through a landscape of pine, heather, gorse, and rhododendrons, offering breathtaking views and an unspoiled natural setting.

Broadstone is more than a premier golfing destination; it’s a community hub known for its welcoming spirit, vibrant social scene, and wide range of amenities for members and guests alike.

Founded in 1898 by Ivor Bertie Guest, 1st Baron of Wimborne, Broadstone's origins are steeped in history and prestige. Its original design by Tom Dunn was enhanced by celebrated architect Harry Colt in the early 20th century, transforming it into a pure heathland course. The club has welcomed notable guests, including Prime Ministers and Open Champions, and has earned praise from legendary golf writer Bernard Darwin, who called it the “Gleneagles of the South.” Over the decades, Broadstone has remained committed to preserving its rich heritage while continuously evolving through course enhancements and modern facilities.

Today, Broadstone Golf Club stands as a testament to tradition and forward-thinking. With its award-winning course, striking clubhouse, and conservation recognition as a Special Area of Conservation, Broadstone offers a unique blend of natural beauty, historical depth, and a commitment to excellence. Whether you're there for championship golf, community events, or simply to enjoy the surroundings, Broadstone is a truly exceptional place to be.
