England Golf Disability Pathway: Eligibility Assessor

England Golf are seeking to recruit 1 or 2 eligibility assessors to review and assess disabled golfers to compete in EDGA (European Disabled Golfers Association) events which will support the disability golf pathway in England. We are working to grow the series of competitions in England and see the role of the eligibility assessor as an integral part of this

England Golf have recently published their Disability Golf Plan as part of the 5-year strategy. Through the plan, our vision is for golf to be one of the leading sports of choice for disabled people in England and to do this we want to ensure golf can be the most inclusive sport regardless of someone’s background or ability by investing more focus and resource into growing the offer across England.

Part of the Disability Golf Plan focuses on classification and assessments to support disabled golfers in the process of acquiring an EDGA Player Pass to enable them to participate in future events. The opportunity below will provide this support to disabled golfers by providing them a localised opportunity to get classified ahead of events, to ensure they are best prepared to perform to the highest level.
