Formed in 1909, Loudoun Gowf Club is a private members Club and is the only ‘Gowf Club’ in the world. Our tree lined Par 68 parkland course is set in the Irvine valley in the heart of Ayrshire. We have several hundred members, and we all take pride in our course and Club. We have a friendly inclusive culture and are open to new ideas.

We seek:
An ambitious person ideally with previous club management, or similar experience, preferably someone who is working through CMAE Management Development Programme or equivalent with the PGA
An individual with business development acumen, strong people leadership and management skills is sought.
A good communicator and capable of inspiring confidence and developing strong working relationships through a positive team working ethic

Role Purpose:
As the Club Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to ensure members, and visitors, have a great golfing experience
Continuing to increase membership, build visitor income and effectively manage all revenue streams
To deliver management objectives and report on club business to the committee monthly
You will have a high degree of autonomy to run the Club as appropriate to achieve your agreed objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Set objectives for team members and develop a set of key performance indicators covering all aspects of the club’s performance and report monthly to the committee of management.
Lead and manage employees to build a team that achieves the Clubs objectives while providing excellent customer service for members and visitors alike.
Manage sales and marketing to grow income and ensure financial targets are met.
Develop and lead initiatives to manage all aspects of membership including retention, satisfaction and renewals.
Ensure bar and catering meets its objectives and continuously improves satisfaction ratings for members and visitors.
Work with the committee of management to develop and deliver longer term strategies.
Manage compliance in all required areas including health & safety, environmental and data protection
Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
A sound knowledge of IT systems and social media and how to optimise their use
Ability to manage suppliers and contractors
To be a good ambassador and role model for the Club in all dealings with members, visitors and external organisations
Remuneration:
We offer a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with the skills, knowledge and experience of the applicant. Applicates with less experience will have their salary compensated with training development through CMAE.
