A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Club Manager at Muir of Ord Golf Club. Established in 1875 Muir of Ord Golf Club is a members club with a James Braid designed 18 hole par 68 golf course.

The successful candidate will work with the Club’s Council of Management & staff to provide a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for both members and visitors to the Club.

Club Manager Job Description

The following is a job description for the Club Manager at Muir of Ord Golf Club.

Club Manager Main Duties

Preparation of Monthly Club Accounts to be presented at Monthly Council of Management Meetings
Weekly Takings to be taken to bank and also recorded on SAGE
Preparation of Annual Club Accounts prior to Club Accountants finalising accounts
Carry out Monthly Payroll for all staff at Muir of Ord Golf Club and keep accurate Payroll records
Process & administer membership yearly subscription runs
To deal with membership enquiries and introduce new members to the Club
To manage and train Bar, Shop & admin staff to carry out their duties as directed by the Council of Management
To deal with all Employment of staff tasks
To deal with all Club Membership activities
Preparing yearly competition fixture lists and overseeing the running of club 7 open competitions
Maintain and administer Club members handicaps via the handicap system
To make sure that the Club is run in accordance with all up to date Health & Safety Legislation
Attend all Council of Management monthly meetings and record minutes of all Council of Management meetings. To also provide input at Council of Management meetings when required
To make sure that all Licenses for Clubhouse etc are in place
To deal with all sponsorship activities relating to the Club
To work with the Council of Management on Marketing activities of the Club
To put together and implement Club policies as directed by the Council of Management
Other duties as required from Club Captain/Council of Management
