Located just two miles south of the home of golf, this world-class project offers breathtaking views across the course towards St. Andrews and over the sea to Carnoustie.

The new St Andrews development will feature:

David Cole, Director of Agronomy, is assembling an agronomy team to work alongside contractors during construction, grow-in, and long-term maintenance of the golf courses and grounds.
Golf Course Manager Role
Reporting to the Director of Agronomy, the Golf Course Manager will oversee all aspects of development, project management, and ongoing maintenance for the A&M Fife golf courses and grounds.
Responsibilities include:
✔ Collaborating with contractors, project managers, and consultants to monitor construction phases
✔ Planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance and improvements of greens, tees, fairways, practice facilities, roughs, bunkers, and associated facilities
✔ Identifying potential problems and providing corrective solutions and recommendations
✔ Directing and managing drainage, turf establishment, and cultural practice programs
✔ Ensuring proper use of pesticides and fertilizers following an Integrated Pest Management program
✔ Overseeing irrigation and pumping systems maintenance
✔ Managing annual and capital budgets, record keeping, and compliance with current legislation
✔ Leading, training, and appraising staff to meet the owners' and management’s standards
✔ Maintaining world-class playing conditions and excellent communication with all departments
Candidate Requirements:
✔ At least 5 years of senior greenkeeping experience and a consistent employment history
✔ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Greenkeeping and sports turf management
✔ PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates
✔ Expertise in golf course construction, turfgrass management, and financial oversight
✔ Extensive team and project management experience
✔ Proven ability to maintain world-class course conditions and manage budgets
✔ Strong organizational, networking, and communication skills
✔ A passion for professional development and staying current in the industry
