Position Overview
 
Enthusiastic about the day-to-day operations of our Greenkeeping Department, you take pride in all greenkeeping tasks associated with our initiatives and values regarding environmental protection and sustainability. You are looking to join a dedicated, hard-working and progressive team of greens staff.  At Cabot, our golf courses are world class and maintenance of these pristine spaces is paramount. You are proud to represent the Cabot brand, and proactively act as an ambassador and role model.
 
 
Core Competencies
Be enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated and interested in all thing’s mechanic
Responsible for the day to day running of the workshop and set-up of course maintenance machinery
Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Assist with golf course maintenance duties on a daily basis
Maintain accurate records for all repairs and track maintenance schedules
Oversee the proper care and use all equipment and tools
Track deliveries & invoices, logging receipts, and reports
Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment at all times
Display responsible environmental protection practices
Qualifications
2-3 years experience in golf course machinery maintenance & repair is essential
A basic understanding of agronomic practices and how they relate to the game of golf would be an advantage
Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
Working Hours:
5 days per week plus weekend cover on a rota system
Flexible working hours depending on daylight hours
Applicants must be available to work weekends as required
