Our course, renowned for its diverse challenges and playability in all but the most adverse conditions, is cherished by a growing membership and visitors who return regularly to test their skills. We are seeking a dedicated greenkeeping professional to help us achieve our goal of becoming an outstanding course for golfers of all levels. Following our transition to a Members Club in 2024, we have invested significantly and will continue to do so. Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience with a proven track record of modern green keeping practices and be dedicated to delivering excellence and continuous improvement. You will have the ability to work within a high performing team and be able to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will possess/be able to demonstrate the following:

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in greenkeeping and sports turf management (desirable)
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certification (desirable)
- Qualified CS30 & CS31 chainsaw operator (desirable)
- 3 years experience in a previous similar role
- The ability to achieve consistently high standards
- Contribute proactively as part of a  team which delivers an agreed Course Masterplan, consistent with the club’s long-term goals and aspirations
- Knowledge of modern greenkeeping practices
- Practical experience operating all modern turf maintenance machinery
- Be an able and confident communicator
- An eye for detail. High standards of course quality and presentation. High professional and personal standards
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and on the golf course to ensure compliance in line with - Regulatory requirements
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular working hours when necessary, including a weekend rota
- A full, clean UK driving license. Desirable
- The ability to play golf and/or show a desire for the game
