Overview:
Are you a Class A PGA professional with a passion for developing golfers of all levels? Kau Sai Chau Golf Club is looking for a Head Golf Professional to drive our coaching programs, mentor instructors, and enhance the golfing experience for players in Hong Kong. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced coach who thrives in leadership, program development, and community engagement.
Description:
Job responsibility:
- To carry out tuition and coaching services effectively and efficiently in accordance with the programmes and business targets set by golf club management.
- To provide leadership and vision to the exiting golf teaching professional team and assure quality service and instructional experiences for all customer segments.
- To assist in training of the Golf Professionals and Golf Professional Assistants who are assigned to help the job holder to carry out golf tuition/coaching services.
- To assist the General Manager and Head of Golf Operations in the promotion of the game of golf to the people of Hong Kong effectively and efficiently.
- To work with the JCKSC Community Manager in organizing community golf programs for promoting the game of golf to the people of Hong Kong.
- To operate as a Tournament Director for all Kau Sai Chau sanctioned events, and develop the Golf Course’s own golf competitions and tournaments in an effective and efficient manner, for the purpose of enhancing the Golf Course status and improving local amateur golfers’ competition experience and skills.
- To maintain and improve the quality and the productivity of the golf teaching professionals and golf professional assistants to meet the agreed targets and standards in the conduct of golf tuition.
- Set yearly budgets, and coaching targets for the team.
Job requirement:
- A qualified Class A PGA professional with a recognised Professional Golfers Association
- 8-10 years’ golf teaching experience with all level of players.
- Work well in a team environment and experience in group coaching.
- Strong in communication, outgoing personality, can do attitude and an ability to deliver a high level of customer service. Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and independent person.
- Willingness to grow the instruction team’s coaching knowledge and advance the coaching technology used by the instruction centre team.
- Experience in developing coaching programs, junior golf camps, and elite golfer programs.
