Account Manager, The Loop

Salary: Competitive (£43,000–£50,000 depending on experience)

Primary Responsibilities

- Overseeing day-to-day management of existing client and account campaigns, including strategy development, media relations, marketing, content and storytelling, media monitoring and reporting, and events.

You will…

- Play a key role in the development of existing account opportunities including the creation of clear strategies, marketing initiatives, content and creative, finance and reporting.
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly PR and marketing plans, leading initiatives to generate best earned media opportunities.
- Have the ability to drive media relations and build campaigns across a broad mix of platforms, from traditional print/online to working closely with a growing list of social media creators.
- Manage overseas press and media trips, while identifying bespoke media engagement opportunities to amplify key client messaging.
- Already possess a strong network of industry connections, but you will also be a strong networker, with the ability to be proactive to unearth and help target/generate new business leads.
- Be a highly confident and competent communicator, always looking to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively collaborate with cross-agency/network teams to showcase The Loop’s portfolio of work.
- Be required to attend and support industry events, client visits and events, as well as global travel, including US visits when needed.
- Have a passion for the game of golf, you don’t have to be a proficient player (there are many ways to love and be a part of the game).
- Partner with account leads and board/directors to align strategy with broader marketing and communication goals.
- Possess strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.

Primary Requirements

- Minimum three to five years’ experience working across PR, Marcomms, and content creation, either through an agency or in-house.
- Excellent understanding of the golf media & social media landscape to amplify storytelling around clients to maximise PR approach.
- Possess a strong eye for a story, with the skillset to pitch into the global media space for best exposure.
- Ability to build comprehensive PR strategies across consumer golf: equipment, travel, lifestyle, as well as business/trade sectors.
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to manage and oversee client finances/budget allocation.

Desirable Requirements

- Proficient writing skills across various content formats, e.g. press releases, social media, and proposals.
- Working experience with content and design platforms such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Basic understanding of paid-for social media and META advertising.

Working Conditions & Location

- Home-based/remote working with regular off-site work meets.
- Some flexibility in working hours may be required (to manage time zones, campaign launches, social conversations, etc.).
- European and US travel will form part of the job, and the successful applicant will be expected to hold a full UK driving licence.
